Event Speakers

DeAnna Murphy

This year's keynote will be led by DeAnna Murphy, whose professional background includes a 25-year tenure as an organizational development consultant, facilitator, and executive coach (and also one of the most popular guests on the Leading Saints podcast). In fact, last year she was honored with the Top 100 Global Coaching Leader award. She is a former stake Relief Society president, the CEO of a leadership development company called People Acuity, which has a presence in 34 countries around the world. She is also the author of Shift Up! Strengths Strategies for Optimal Living, and the happily married mother of three children and grandmother of four.

Steve Shallenberger

Steve has more than forty years of experience as a successful business owner, a trusted senior executive, professional corporate trainer, and a respected community leader. He has also served as a stake president and mission president. Steve also worked many years with Stephen R. Covey. As a key leader, among others, he helped build the world-renowned Covey Leadership Center. He’s taken his lifetime of experience and founded Becoming Your Best Global Leadership LLC, a company devoted to helping individuals and organizations achieve their maximum potential!

Jessica Johnson

Jessica Johnson is a Principal Consultant for The RBL Group. She consults with organizations worldwide in various industries for leadership development and strategic human resources. In that role she serves as an executive coach, teacher, facilitator and program designer. She has published articles and book chapters on developing high potential employees and coaching. Way back in the day, Jessica was a live television sports producer for SportsWest, covering college football and basketball. She holds an MBA and MA from Brigham Young University and lives in Springville, Utah. She is a former Relief Society President and currently serves in the Stake Primary Presidency.

Steve Willis

Steve Willis has served in many leadership capacities within the Church, including Bishop, Branch President, and Young Mens President. For more than 20 years he has worked at VitalSmarts, the leadership development company behind multiple award-winning books and trainings, including Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability, and Influencer.

Kurt Francom

Kurt is the founder and executive director of Leading Saints. He has recorded over 300 leadership focused interviews on the Leading Saints podcast and has several years experience traveling North America training and speaking. He has served as a bishop, stake presidency counselor, and most recently as an elders quorum president.
